With summer just beginning, 5 WCAAE wrestlers traded 5 days of free time and relaxation for 5 days of team bonding, wrestling technique, intense drilling, weight lifting, iron man competitions, and wrestling matches. The boys joined other wrestlers from the area to form a dual team. The team went 4-5 in the duals. WCA Alumni Jake Long who was a 2x state finalist for the Knights wrestling team, spent time working and coaching the five wrestlers. The boys always enjoy the camp, working with top notch athletes like Jake make it even better. Besides working with Jake they also enjoyed technique sessions with U of M wrestlers and Alumni. Co head coaches Clay and Matt Nagel run the camp. This is just one of the few camps that WCAAE wrestlers will be attending over the summer!

While looking around the Concordia wrestling facilities I came across this great paper written by Marty Morgan who wrestled and coached for the U of M. I snapped a quick picture of it with my phone. If you zoom in on it i am sure you will enjoy this quick read.
